CASA by CH was inspired by this concept: it is a collection of fragrances designed to elicit a similar response – a sense of refinement, well-being and indulgence – in the spaces where we live, work, play and sleep.

THE MISSING LINK IN THE SENSORY EXPERIENCE

A new venture by Trio Architecture, CASA grew from a desire to enhance the spaces they designed and decorated – to go beyond form and function and create an all-round sensory experience.

“Trio started out offering architecture services, where we considered aesthetics, budget and functionality,” Mike Stroh, principal architect, explains. “As the firm grew, we realised that in offering architecture only, we were essentially handing over an unfinished product. We wanted to provide the option of in-house interior design and décor to complete the picture. That’s when Carolina joined us six years ago.

As innovators and trendsetters in the industry, we are now taking our company to a whole other level by offering a 4D experience, tapping into our touch, visual, auditory – and now our sense of smell.”

“My approach to design has always been driven by feelings,” Carolina elaborates. “I was exposed to art, music and design at a very young age through my father’s love and appreciation for them, and I remember always feeling happy when I was home. To me, that’s what it’s all about, creating spaces that evoke emotions – places where memories are made.

“However, there was always one element missing in interiors, and that was the smell. It is proven to be directly linked to our memory and influences our mood and well-being, so for the past five years, I have been researching how I can bring that component to my clients. I decided to develop my own luxury fragrance collection that can be delivered through scent machines and accessories. After working with the finest fragrance houses in the USA, I’m proud to present CASA. We are launching with five fragrance lines – Cielo, Terra, Flora, Agua and Luna – all inspired by luxury hotels.

SCENTING SPACES, LARGE AND SMALL

In addition to these fragrances, CASA provides the means to deliver them evenly, safely and discreetly.

For clients who wish to scent an entire home, business or hotel, CASA offers a machine that can be integrated into A/C systems and programmed to deliver fragrances at specific times and to partciular zones.

For single rooms, smaller spaces or rentals, stand-alone machines are the ideal solution. Both are designed to work with CASA fragrances only and use cold air diffusion technology for subtle and consistent scenting.

Cold air diffusion technology uses large volumes of filtered cold air combined with air pressure to diffuse oils into a dry mist of nanoparticles. This system maintains the therapeutic integrity of CASA’s essential oils and removes the risk of damaging furniture, electronics and art.

CASA’s team will install the A/C capable machines, programme them to the client’s desired schedule in under an hour and will also take care of the maintenance. Clients can also take advantage of the CASA VIP programme of monthly oil deliveries.

To complement the scenting machines, CASA also offers a complete collection of luxury candles, reed diffusers and linen sprays. These are also ideal for scenting smaller areas or to use before and during an event. They also make fantastic gifts.
